I’m running for the Waikato Regional Council because I know what it feels like when floods threaten a season, when rivers need real care, and when rules written far away don’t fit life on the ground. I’ll listen first, cut through the red tape, and focus on the regional basics that matter: clean water and real flood protection, strong biosecurity and pest control, and public transport that actually serves our communities.
We can protect our waterways and keep rural towns strong, we don’t have to choose. I’ll measure every dollar by one test: does it improve outcomes and deliver value for the people who pay the rates?
